Gates Salvage Yard has been in the recycling business for over 60 years. With two generations of family ownership, we take pride in our work and in helping make the community cleaner. We began as a traditional salvage yard and have grown into a large family owned and operated business.

Our local Hardwick, VT business is passionate about recycling. We have always been heavily reliant on metals as our primary revenue source. However, we now also focus on tires as a new recycling source. All tires we recycle find new life in various manufacturing processes and industries.
